Meet Our Lead Instructor
Jeff Ollis has been serving his community through Emergency Services for nearly 20 years. He is a member of the Fort Washington Fire Company and serves as President of the Community Ambulance Association of Ambler.
Several years ago, Jeff took on the responsibility of providing the Fire Company’s annual First Aid, CPR, and AED training. Through that experience, he developed a passion for teaching others the skills they need to respond confidently in an emergency. Jeff is certified as an instructor by both the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association.
Today, Jeff is bringing his experience and expertise to the community at large. His goal is simple: to give everyday people the knowledge, skills, and confidence to respond when seconds matter and potentially save a life.
A Message from Jeff
“CPR saves lives. I know multiple people who have saved a life with CPR, and I know multiple people whose lives have been saved by CPR. Knowing how to perform CPR can make all the difference.
“Most of the time, CPR is performed by a friend or loved one. Think about that for a moment. The person who may one day need CPR could be someone sitting next to you right now.
“I hope someone you care about never needs CPR. I truly do. But if that day ever comes, I want you to be ready.
“You don't have to be a firefighter, a paramedic, or a medical professional to save a life. You just have to know what to do—and be willing to do it.”
Learn the skills. Build the confidence. Be ready to save a life.
